Spring
break was last week and I was able to get a ride from a good friend. It was
sooooo good to see my family again. We went to an Asian restaurant and I
enjoyed being home. But now I’m at school again, and I’m glad. I’ve made some
good friends here and I missed them. The semester is a little more than half
over and Geneva won’t let you forget. They are already having students meet
with their adviser to pick their next classes for next semester.
On a more serious note, when I was going through middle
school and high school, each week was fast paced but remained the same. Yes
things would change slightly as in life, but things seemed to stay for the most
part consistent. But ever since last
summer, it feels like my life has suddenly jerked itself into motion. I’m
moving forward fast, and I can’t slow down. Even when I went home, the normal I
once knew was gone. Or, maybe it’s the other way around. I am no longer who I
was, God is transforming me, and I can’t
go back to who I used to be, I am a different person. Kind of like the end of “The Lord of the Rings.”
Frodo and his friends are sitting down for a drink while the rest of the room
is buzzing with excitement over a big pumpkin. Like them, I am no longer the same;
I’m becoming who I’m supposed to be.
Yeah, that's how college is. So much more life in so short a space
